What I Did In the Holidays by Shanann

During the holidays my dog bit me on my finger. My dog is called Nacho. He is brown. I played hide and seek with Nacho. He found me, chase me and bit me. It was a little bit hurt. I told my dad about it. My dad told Nacho off. My finger started bleeding so Dad put plaster on it.

Playing Basketball by Ana

Every Thursday we went to the hall to play basketball. First we had to run to warm up. Then we got little paper with letter on it. I got "B". Natasha, Leya, Dillion, and Keenen got "B" too. We had to go to Geara. Geara wanted us to bounce the ball. Then we had to shoot the basketball into the hoop.

I like playing basketball because it makes me happy.

My Trip to Europe by Leya

My family and  I went to the airport . We went away on the plane.  I watched a movie and I ate curry and rice .I also had water and coke to drink.

We went to London. I slept on my bed in the hotel because I was really tired. When I woke up I had pizza. We went for a ride in a car . I saw horses and I saw the queen riding in her carriage. We also saw Buckingham Palace where the Queen lives. 

Then we went to Europe. When we went to Paris it was night time and we saw the Eiffel Tower lit up. We went to Italy,  I had butter chicken and I saw the Colosseum and lots of statues. It was a really fun holiday.

Disco at Tamaki by William

Last Friday our class went to Tamaki  Intermediate for a Disco. We travelled in cars.  We wore mufti. I danced with William from Tamaki. I had chips and an orange drink. I liked the balloons that were in a net over the dance floor. I enjoyed the colourful lights too. I saw many of my friends there. I loved the hologram pictures on the wall because they were pretty bright and sparkly.  What a fun day I had at the Disco. I loved it.

Last Friday, on the 31st of July 2015, our 3 classes went to Tamaki Intermediate for a Hollywood Disco Ball. I danced with my friends and I also danced with Leya and Gregory. I loved the music and the best song I liked was Bad Blood by Taylor Swift. Then I had some orange drink and popcorn. When I was dancing, I looked at the lovely colourful lights, hologram pictures and the props and I loved the golden crowns. I played with the colourful  balloons and passed them around to my friends like Leya and Gregory  The best part of the day was dancing with my friends and seeing the other classes. What fun I had and I hope to go to a disco again.
