1. Why is a desert dry?
Because there is so little rain.


2. How much of the earth's land area is desert?
Almost one third of the earth land area is desert.


3. Which desert is the hottest place on earth?
The Sahara Desert is the hottest place on earth. 



4. When do camels close their nostrils?

To keep out blowing sand and dust camels close their nostrils.

5. Why do you think camels can survive in deserts?
Camels store fat in their hump. 

I do not like to live in a desert because it is very hot.

"Jumping - World Record" by William

The two main people in the article I read are Vince  Reffet and Fred Fygen.

 These two sky  divers have set a new world record after jumping off the world’s tallest building.

This event took  place in Burj Khalifa in Dubai on  May 30 of 2014.

We are making a calendar in our class. My calendar is about a music group called Guns n Roses. They are my favourite group. I think their music is cool.

I like pictures of The Simpson family because I like watching The Simpsons. It is funny because they go and get lots of prizes for playing chase and Homer get $5 for drinking beer.

I chose The Simpsons pictures  because I like watching The Simpsons and I chose 100 Homer pictures.

What a surprise

 What a surprise I got when Mum told me it was party time. IT was a fundraiser for the church. On Saturday night we met terrific friends like Kay and Roger.

I enjoyed going to Futsal at Riverside.  I like kicking the ball into the goal  because I am now better at it. I am good at dribbling the ball now.
